and the Barbie Harley - Davidson Ken Mattel brought us some much needed improvements. A new body sculpt with more poseability and a more manly physique. Poseability has now reached the playline Ken dolls but what happened with the facial sculpts? I guess Bieber Fever has hit toy shelves! The new Kens have a face sculpt that gives off a more squarish jaw but also a younger appearance! Remember the shorty dolls from a few years ago? I think these new Kens would look great with those dolls but we all know what happened with those dolls!Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I wouldn't purchase these dolls, but it will take a while for me to get used to them. Because of the new neck knobs it will be difficult to switch the heads on these dolls if you are buying them simply for the new body. Let's hear what you think. Running out to by them, um... I don't think so, or I'm still undecided . . .

I dont think I would buy him. the face the body, the fasion... nothing is what I would collect. I guess he is for children under age 10. I read an article Mattel spent millions $$$ every year to do marekting research, their experts talk to thousands & thousands of children around the world and finally choose to produce a doll that a child would like. since an adult & a child do have differet perspectives, I decided not to file a complaint but move on. so, goodbye, playline Ken & Barbie, I am done with you all. ^_^
The body has potential - what kind of a neck joint to they have? Is it the same as the fairly rare tilting one? They are hard to find replacements for, but they're here and there... I think I'd prefer this new Fashionistas body for some of the Kens, as I tend to collect Max Steel -bodies to make the boys jointed, but they're really short and also tough to find a head for the joint not to mention one that matches the usually very tanned max steel.
